Baghel compares PM Modi with arrogant Ravana

Raipur:Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi with arrogant Ravana, the character in India’s mythological drama Ramayana. Even the ego of Ravana could not last and Prime Minister Modi is just a human being, said Baghel while taking a dig at the Prime Minister who announced the withdrawal of the three Agriculture Laws and appealed the farmers to end their agitation. He made the aforementioned statement from the stage of Panchayati Raj Conference held in Raipur on Saturday evening.

Baghel said that when the farmers’ movement was going on, the farmers were criticised saying they had no work and therefore staging demonstration. Farmers were called brokers and even terrorists. Attempts were made to defame farmers in many ways, but the farmers of India stood firm and finally the government had to bow down, Baghel said.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that everything Rahul Gandhi had said proved to be hundred per cent true. Rahul Gandhi had said that the economic situation will worsen due to the lockdown. Corona cases will rise if ‘Namaste Trump’ programme is held in India, Rahul Gandhi had said and expressed concern about inflation. He had said that in any case, the central government would have to withdraw the agricultural laws, but his statements were ridiculed. Now these statements turn out to be true.

Later taking to twitter, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel described Rahul Gandhi as visionary leader like Mahatma Gandhi. Baghel wrote – An English journalist had said about Mahatma Gandhi that no person in history has been proved right so many times. The same moral legacy has given Rahul Gandhi the vision that he is able to see far and wide.
