Dr. Sandeep Pathak, a Rajya Sabha member from the Aam Aadmi Party, who was born and brought up in undivided Bilaspur district, is preparing to be the face of AAP in Chhattisgarh. Hence, why party officials are bringing forth AAP’s as their leader not only in Bilaspur but in Chhattisgarh. On his arrival on April 18, preparations were made to demonstrate strength by organizing a roadshow and bike rally as well as a meeting.

Aam Aadmi Party has intensified preparations to lay the foundation for the 2023 assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. Talking to reporters on Saturday, State Spokesperson Priyanka Shukla, said that after becoming a Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab, Sandeep Pathak, a resident of Lormi (now under Mungeli district) of undivided Bilaspur district is coming to Chhattisgarh for the first time. He will be accompanied by Chhattisgarh election in-charge Gopal Rai and state in-charge Sanjeev Jha.

Sandeep Pathak has played an important role behind the scenes in Punjab. The party plans to make him a leader of Chhattisgarh and Bilaspur. Party officials said that the state in-charge of AAP will visit different districts of the state for 10 days. AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab quota, Sandeep is also reaching here. Apparently, eminent people from the social and political field want to join the party. He will be made to enter the party in the presence of Sandeep Pathak.

Office bearers have claimed that socially connected people along with big leaders and workers of Congress and BJP are in touch to join AAP. However, the party office-bearers have not made anyone’s name public.

On April 19, the party will have a training of office-bearers and workers in Bilaspur for the Vidhan Sabha. It will also include training for the expansion of the organization. Chhattisgarh election in-charge Gopal Rai and state in-charge Sanjeev Jha will be mainly involved. The training program will have the state core committee members of Chhattisgarh, all the district presidents, secretaries, organization ministers, assembly presidents, assembly secretaries, organization ministers as well as about 60 central observers. The training will start from 10 am at Devki Nandan Sabha Bhavan located at Shanichari Bazar.

After Delhi and Punjab, the next target of the Aam Aadmi Party is Chhattisgarh. This is the reason that the tour programs of AAP leaders are underway, to strengthen the foundation of the party in Chhattisgarh.
