86 per cent adult population and 48 per cent children in 15 to 18 years age group in Chhattisgarh fully jabbed
Raipur: 86 per cent of the population above 18 years and 48 per cent children in 15 to 18 years age group in the state are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19. In both the age groups, one crore 68 lakh 47 thousand 820 and seven lakh 89 thousand 423 people have been administered both doses of the vaccine respectively. One crore 76 lakh 37 thousand 243 people are fully vaccinated in the state so far (till April 4). Similarly, precaution doses have been administered to four lakh 40 thousand 754 health workers, frontline workers and people above 60 years of age. Four lakh 13 thousand 301 children in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered first dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of Covid-19 vaccine has been administered to nearly 100 per cent of the population above 18 years and 69 per cent of children in 15 to 18 years age group in the state. This includes one crore 98 lakh 39 thousand 909 citizens above 18 years and 11 lakh 34 thousand 701 adolescents of 15 to 18 years. A total of three crore 94 lakh 65 thousand 908 vaccines have been administered so far across the state, including both the aforementioned age groups, precaution doses and children in 12 to 14 years age group in the state.
