Covid-19 vaccination crosses three-crore mark in Chhattisgarh

Raipur:
The total number of Covid-19 vaccinations administered in the state has crossed
three-crore mark on Monday.

A
total of 3 crore 01 thousand and 122 doses including both first and second
doses has been administered so far till Monday. Over 1.86 lakh people have received
their first shot of Covid-19 vaccine. The state is now only five per cent away
from 100 per cent coverage of the first dose. The number of people eligible for
corona vaccination in the state is about 1.96 crore.

Both
doses of vaccines have been administered to 58 per cent of citizens with 1.13
crore people getting both the shots. Rapid vaccination is being done across the
state to achieve 100 per cent target of corona vaccination at the earliest. Covid-19
vaccination is being done at the paddy procurement centers as well after the
commencement of paddy procurement from farmers on support price from December 1
in the state.
