Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to Chhattisgarh’s eminent journalist and former MP Chandulal Chandrakar on his death anniversary on February 2.
Commemorating the invaluable contribution of Chandrakar, Baghel said that the gem of Chhattisgarh, Chandulal served the country and the state as a member of parliament in the Lok Sabha, and also rendered his valuable services as minister of various important departments. As the President of Chhattisgarh Rajya Nirman Sarva Party Manch, he gave a new direction to the Chhattisgarh State Movement.
Baghel said that Chandulal ji is also known for his ethical and fearless journalism. He courageously raised his voice on many raging issues. He glorified the name of Chhattisgarh at national-level with his strong persona and fearless journalism. Chhattisgarh government has established Chandulal Fellowship in the field of journalism in his memory with an aim to pass on his values to the next generation of journalists. The Chief Minister said that his service to the motherland, his invaluable thoughts and exemplary works will always inspire the new generation.
