Bhilai. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated development works worth Rs 27 crore and performed Bhoomi Pujan in Risali, Municipal Corporation of Durg district. On this occasion, he said that after the formation of the new government, in the last three years, the people of the state got the gift of five new districts and a new municipal corporation Risali. He said that we formed several Tehsils during this period, but only one Municipal Corporation, Risali. When Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu proposed this, we decided that soon we will give the gift of Municipal Corporation to the people of Risali. Within a year, a municipal corporation was formed. The Chief Minister also announced the construction of the College and Hospital building at Risali.

 

The Chief Minister said that in the last three years, Chhattisgarh has led in various fields across the country, like ​​forest produce collection or ​​cleanliness. For example, earlier only seven types of forest produce were procured, now 52 types are procured. If we look at the awards in the field of cleanliness, out of 239 awards, Chhattisgarh received 67; this is a significant achievement. Risali is also included in this achievement. The Chief Minister said that there is no shortage of funds for infrastructure development in urban areas.

In his address, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu said that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was pivotal in the formation of the Risali Municipal Corporation. When the proposal came before him, he immediately started its process, and within a year the corporation was formed. Whenever the demand for development works for Risali Corporation was made in front of the Chief Minister, he always fulfilled it. On this occasion, Bhilai MLA Devendra Yadav, Chairman of Mineral Development Corporation Girish Devangan and other public representatives and dignitaries were present.
