PCC chief surrounds DRM office.

Dispatch News.
Railways has canceled 23 passenger trains passing through Chhattisgarh for a month. The politics of the state has flared up due to this railway ban. On Tuesday, the Congress under the leadership of state president Mohan Markam gheraoed the DRM office. The state president has submitted a memorandum to the DRM. He said that if the passenger trains are not restored, the Congress will stop the goods trains carrying coal from here and stop the supply of coal in the country. On the other hand, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also spoke to the Railway Minister about this on the phone.
Congress had announced agitation against cancellation of trains yesterday itself. On Tuesday afternoon, PCC Chief Mohan Markam, along with many Congress leaders and workers, reached the DRM office. Earlier these people staged a dharna in front of the office and raised slogans. After this, he submitted a memorandum to the DRM, demanding to restore the trains immediately.
Talking to the media, Mohan Markam said that the central government is doing this to harass the people of Chhattisgarh. The government has created an artificial shortage of electricity and coal and has now stopped 23 passenger trains to speed up the supply of coal from here. We will not allow this to happen. If the central government does not run these trains again, then we will stop the supply of electricity and coal from here.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has opposed this decision of the Railways. He said Railways should reconsider this decision. A day ago, he said that he would also talk to the Railway Minister on this issue. After this, on Tuesday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel spoke to Railway Minister Ashwani Kumar over the phone and demanded to run all 23 trains again in public interest. The Railway Minister has assured to take a decision on this demand. Subrata Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, has written a letter to the Railway Board, objecting to the closure of trains.
State Congress Communications Department President Sushil Anand Shukla had said that the cancellation of 23 trains from the state has once again proved that Narendra Modi is unable to handle the issues of the country. They are not able to save Coal India, and cancellation of trains in the name of railway improvement work and maintenance is an excuse. In fact, the Modi government has canceled the trains due to the operational coal crisis. Raipur MP Sunil Soni himself has admitted that if the trains are not canceled then there will be a blackout situation due to power crisis in 7 to 8 states. Sushil Anand Shukla said, if trains are canceled due to train maintenance, then how goods trains are operating on the same railway track. The number of goods trains have also doubled.
State Congress Communications Department President Sushil Anand Shukla said, Railways has so far closed 109 trains in the state. 87 trains were closed for the last two years in the name of Corona. 22 trains have now been cancelled. Due to the closure of trains, people who earn their living by joining the railways are also upset.
