Raipur: The government
on Monday approved promotions of as many as 20 IPS officers, promoting one to
additional director general (ADG) rank and four to inspector general (IG) rank.
Those promoted include 1990-batch IPS officer Rajesh Kumar Mishra who has been
made special DG and Dipanshu Kabra, a 1997-batch IPS officer, who has been
promoted to ADG rank. Four IPS officers including Neha Champawat, Ajay Yadav,
Badrinarayan Meena and Dr. Sanjeev Shukla have been promoted to inspector
general (IG).
