Folk Art Festival 2022 started at CVRU Bilaspur

Governor Anusuiya Uikey praised the university for providing such a platform to promote art, culture and tradition.

Such events will help establish the tribal art and culture at global level

The Governor said that she is proud to say that today tribal culture is recognized in India and abroadThis University is doing an exemplary work, She said. Praising the Chancellor of the University, she said that the University family is very fortunate, who have such learned Chancellor.

University Registrar Gaurav Shukla, who was present on the culmination of creativity. Today the university is established as the largest university of central India in a very short time. Apart from imparting education with world-class facilities, the university has also taken the initiative to transfer the art, culture, literature of Chhattisgarh in real form to the future generationsand Raman Lok Kala Mahotsav is one of the effective mediums.

Vice Chancellor Professor Ravi Prakash Dubey said that the University has always been promoting the local language, art, culture, literature. In this sequence, Chhattisgarhi Department has also been established in the university.

Simultaneously, with the aim of providing a platform to the folk artists, Raman LokKala Mahotsav is being organized in the university for the past several years. 

Convener of the programme, Dr Arvind Tiwari said that the university is determined to preserve and promote folk art, culture and traditional knowledge while fulfilling the obligation laid down by its law.

Bilaspur MP Arun Sao, who was present as a special guest in the programme, said that Dr CV Raman University is working to restore the respect for the art, culture and traditions of Chhattisgarh. 

Wonderful combination of art and culture with education: Dharamjit

Lormi MLA Dharamjit Singh on the occasion said that India lives in villages and tradition, arts and culture are seated in hearts of everyone here. It is a matter of great pleasure that since the year 2019, Raman Lok Kala Mahotsav is being organized here continuously. The university is working for the preservation and promotion of the folk art culture literature of Chhattisgarh.

CVRU is number one in every area

Santosh Choubey, Chancellor of Dr CV Raman University, said that it is the first university of the state established in the tribal area, which is working to connect the tribal people to the basic education. He said that with this it has the distinction of being the only university to run the Prime Minister’s Skill Development Centre. Community Radio Raman has been established here with the support of the Central Government. He said that the biggest event of GroupAsia is also organized by Vishwarang event in which more than 50 countries are involved. He said that the university’s mother organization AISECT has published KathadeshKatha Madhya Pradesh and Katha Vishwas.

Karma and Kakasad dance enthrall audience

Karma and Kakasad dance captivated the audience present on the occasionSiddheshwar Karma Dance Troupe of PadigaonTamanar Raigad gave a splendid performance. A glimpse of Bastar was seen in the Kakasad dance presented by GagrooRam, who came from Bastar.

Gudi has been made on the lines of the village in the university campus, in which many artists including Nangada, Bamboo GeetGadwa Baja, Jas Geet were presented.

Chhattisgarhi cuisine fair

About 50 stalls were set up in the festival. During this, the stall of Chhattisgarhi cuisine was the center of attraction. Many types of traditional dishes like FaraDal BadaSabudana Bada, Dumpling, TetriKhurmiMurrah’s Laddu, Sugar PapdiGudPapdiDhuskaChaislaChanaMurraChila were enjoyed by the people.
