Rajnandgaon police rescue five girls, including three minors, within hours of their missing

 

 

Rajnandgaon:Three minors among five girls, who had gone missing on January 18 from Dongargarh, were rescued traced by the Rajnandgaon police within hours from their missing and subsequently rescued on Friday. A coordinated effort of the Cyber Cell of Rajnandgaon police, RPF Gwalior and RPF Nagpur played a pivotal role in tracing the missing girls to Gwalior. All the girls were brought back to their respective home. 

According to information, family members of these girls from Baputola and Aonratala villages of the district had complained to OP Chichola police chowki on January 19 that the girls, who are friends among themselves, had gone out at 10 am on January 18 and did not return since then. The police chowkiin-charge informed the senior officials about the matter. Under the directives of Rajnandgaon SP Santosh Singh, a team of police and cyber cell took the charge of the case under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police, DongargarhJaiprakash Carpenter and SDOP Krishna Patel

Following a thorough examination of the CCTV footage of the Dongargarh railway station, the girls were spotted boarding Chhattisgarh Express train. To know the live location of the train, Cyber Cell was brought into operation. In the mean time, RPF Gwalior, Jhansi and Nagpur was coordinated.  

The girls were safely rescued at Gwalior railway station when the train reached Gwalior station

Police outpost in-charge RS Sengar and team, in-charge cyber cell Dwarka Prasad Lautre and team as well as R.P.F. Crime in-charge Nagpur Vikas Singh and R.P.F. In-charge Gwalior Sanjay Kumar Arya’steam and Constable Manish Manikpuri played a commendable role in the operation.
