The Health Department has given contractual appointments to 66 MBBS pass outs 2021. All these doctors have been posted in the health centers of tribal-dominated districts of Bastar and Surguja. Out of these, a maximum of 66 doctors are being posted in the districts of Bastar division.
The Health and Family Welfare Department has issued an order for two-year contractual appointment in the name of 66 doctors. These new doctors have been asked to join duty immediately. They are also directed to produce a certificate issued by the Medical Board of the concerned district within 15 days of joining duty. These doctors posted in tribal areas are to be given an honorarium of Rs 55,000 every month. In general areas, this honorarium is 45 thousand rupees per month. According to the appointment order, the doctors will have to remain at their place of appointment. No movement will be allowed from anywhere other than the headquarters. This appointment is under the compulsory service bond of two years of medical education. They will have to compulsorily complete this service period. If these doctors do not join the respective center. Their registration with the Medical Council can also be cancelled.
