Revenue min lashes out at Korba district collector for stopping road construction work, calls her “corrupt”

Raipur: Lashing out at Korba district collector Ranu Sahu for stopping a road construction work, revenue minister Jai Singh Agrawal alleged that the collector has stopped work for her personal interest.

“She has stopped the work for her personal interest. However, she won’t be able to do it for a long time”, he added.

Describing her as “corrupt”, Singh  said that there has been misuse of government money wherever she was posted.

Replying to a question on closure of the road construction from Tamarind Chhapar Kusmunda to Tarda, he said that money has been received from SECL for this work, but the “Collector Madam” has stopped the second installment of the road construction, due to which the construction of the road is stopped as of now. 

The minister added that the Chief Minister himself wants the roads of the state to be developed; collectors are not stopping the construction of roads in any district of the state. Only in Korba district, this is being done by the collector here because of her self interest.
