Summer vacation to be cut short to bridge the learning gap of students during Covid-19 crisis and lockdown
Raipur: State Government’s Education Department has decided to cut short the duration of summer vacation, in order to compensate for the learning loss of the students. Parents and students are happy with this decision of the department.
It is noteworthy that the school education has been in a disarray for a long time due to COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused major learning loss for the students. Keeping in view this loss, the Education Department has decided to cut short the duration of summer vacations so as to bridge the learning gap for students. Parents and children have welcomed this decision of the Education Department.
Meanwhile, teachers will be teaching the students while keeping in mind the learning loss during pandemic. This would help the students to participate in the next class with full enthusiasm. Efforts will be made to ensure 100 per cent attendance of the students, but it will not be made compulsory. The time table of the schools will be prepared according to the season to avoid any inconvenience.
