TG community  expresses its gratitude to CM for giving 50 per cent exemption in driving training fee

Chhattisgarh Mitwa Sankalp Samiti has expressed its gratitude to Chief Minister
Bhupesh Baghel for his announcement of 50 per cent exemption in training fee
for women and transgender community made on the auspicious occasion of the
inauguration of the newly built building of the Institute of Driving and
Traffic Research (IDTR) in Tendua village adjoining Nava Raipur.

The
Samiti has sent a letter to chief minister for expressing gratitude in which
they said that this announcement of chief minister has inspired the transgender
community to acquire certain skills. As a result of this announcement, an
environment for inclusive development, as well as employment opportunities,
will also be created for the people of the transgender community. The committee
has expressed its gratitude to the government for continuously taking steps for
the upliftment of the transgender community. The committee has also thanked the
transport minister Mohammad Akbar, for giving training opportunities to the
transgender community in the driving institute and for announcing special
exemption in the prescribed fee.

Meanwhile,
the chief minister has announced 50 per cent relaxation for women and
transgender in the prescribed fees for training in IDTR and free training for
the disabled in the inauguration ceremony of the Institute of Driving and
Traffic Research (IDTR).
