India is celebrating 75 years of independence to commemorate the growth of Independent India in all spheres of life and glorious history. On this auspicious occasion, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has launched “Hamar Tiranga Abhiyan’ to celebrate the Colors of freedom with the joys of Nyay. This Abhiyan aims to instill the spirit of pride and patriotism for the nation amongst all the citizens. It shows our gratitude to the freedom fighters whose sacrifices got us freedom from200 years of subjugation by the British Raj.

Under the leadership and guidance of Chairman Rajendra Tewari and MD Chhattisgarh Khadi and Gramodyog Board, in its unique way, prepared almost 50,000 National Flags with the help of 500 women and men from various self-help groups from Khadi cloths produced by Chhattisgarh Khadi Board to make this campaign successful.

These National flags have been dyed and printed in Chhattisgarh and are being given to various depts and districts. This unique campaign has employed men and women by involving them in this activity and generating income for them.
