Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel chairs review meeting of district-level officials

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday chaired a review meeting of district-level officials of Sakti district and Dabhra block in Chandrapur rest house complex.

“There is a lot of enthusiasm among the residents with the creation of this new district. Besides, they have high expectations as well. For this all the officers should work efficiently to strengthen the trust of people in government and local administration”, said chief minister.

He directed the officials concerned to ensure prompt implementation of the announcements made yesterday during ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. Besides, he said that no person should be deprived of the availing benefit of the government schemes due to non-update of revenue records. He directed the officers to do the work of rectification of revenue records including transfer, payment, and partition on priority. He asked to pace up the work of road construction and regularly monitor the same.

He also gave instructions in the meeting for quick disposal of pending compensation cases of Saradih and Kalma barrage. He said that only those who are the rightful owners of the account should get the benefit. He also gave instructions to update the records for this. Besides, he also gave directions to change the inactive Gauthan Samitis which are not functioning properly. Anemic women should get the benefit of hot meals regularly.

During the meeting, instructions were given to identify the eligible people in the villages and link them with the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana’ by running a campaign. Instructions were also given to the officers to increase the number of villages under the Haat Bazar Clinic yojana besides ensuring the availability of prescribed medicines and medical tests to the people.

The education officials were instructed to ensure the issuance of caste certificates to cent per cent school students in the next 15 days. He said that well-equipped community halls will be established in flood-prone areas. For this, instructions have been given to the district collector to conduct a survey of such villages and take the necessary action by preparing estimates.
