KTUJM EC members show the pathetic condition of the university.

A member of the Executive Council of Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication has written to the university’s vice-chancellor, raising several issues concerning the university’s students and staff. Council member Rajkumar Soni, accompanied by another member colleague Avesh Tiwari, inspected the academic building, administrative building, hostel, and other infrastructures and facilities and listened to the staff and students, citing the authority bestowed upon them as members of the executive council.
He handed over a bundle of papers highlighting complaints received from employees in the electronics department, where a programme called Poshan Ki Potli had previously been broadcast. He demanded n investigation for the sake of the students.
Following an inspection, they confirmed that the employees’ statements were correct. There has been no physical verification of the university since its inception. He confronted the vice-chancellor.

The faculty building has a pile of rotten furniture. The faculty building lacks air conditioning. The university officials and employees do not appear to care about nature, based on the garden in front.
The seminar room in the Department of Mass Communication is in an appalling condition. The AC, lighting, and audiovisual systems are all subpar.

The computers in the Electronic Media Department’s radio and TV studios are ancient, they claim, causing a problem for students.

Surprisingly, in such a large university, the budget for purchasing books for the library is meagre. Every year, only 15000 to 20000 are available. The book shortage is a major concern.
Examiners are not recruited from outside the university to prepare question papers. There has also been discussion about expanding the role of the confidential department to increase transparency in the development of question papers.
