The Chhattisgarh Officer-Employee Federation has begun an indefinite strike. The Federation has begun its strike in front of the Indravati Bhawan. The picket line for this strike is located at Budha Talab. The Officer Employees Federation has called for an indefinite strike to begin. It has the backing of over 80 organisations.

According to Federation President Kamal Verma, the indefinite strike has come to light due to a lack of communication and neglect. Officers and employees have been on strike indefinitely. He informed us that employee organisations are joining us. “The figure has risen from 88 to 98. Five lakh officers and employees have gone on indefinite strike. Work will get impacted in this case. I apologise to those whose jobs are in jeopardy because of our strike. However, the government is to blame.” As a result, they have declared an indefinite strike.

According to Kamal Verma, we started the movement. The officials are trying to break it by misleading the people, but they have failed. We are the ones who are striking. There have been no meetings with the CM. We will continue to strike until we are heard. We are fighting for our rights. We all know that our Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, is not one to suspend or fire anyone.
