Raipur: A day after chief minister Bhupesh Baghel’s announcement to teach in the local language, and dialect once a week in schools, the implementation of the same was started in the Janjgir-Champa district. Following the announcement made on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Mulmula High School lecturer Pratiksha Singh taught English to the students of class 10th by translating it into Chhattisgarhi.
Heaping praise on the teacher, CMO Chhattisgarh took to Twitter and Facebook sharing the video of the teacher teaching students in Chhattisgarhi with a caption that reads the instruction to teach in Chhattisgarhi once a week is being followed in Mulmula High School of Janjgir.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Teachers’ Day Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced to impart education in Chhattisgarhi and tribal dialects one day a week in all schools to promote local language and dialects. On the commencement of this initiative in a school of the district, collector Taran Prakash Sinha gave instructions to felicitate the school teacher. Pamgarh Block Education Officer Rajendra Shukla and Assistant Block Education Officer Jairam Sarathi felicitated Pratiksha Singh with a flower bouquet and shriphal.
