CM Baghel unveiled life size statue of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi
Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday unveiled a life size statue of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi, weighing 3 tonnes, in village Ranjana under Katghora assembly constituency. This 12.50 feet high statue has been built by the Gram Panchayat.
Chief Minister garlanded the statue of Rajiv Gandhi and encouraged all the people present by raising slogans “Rajiv Gandhi Amar Rahe”. Upon his arrival at the venue, the members of the Congress Seva Dal accorded a warm welcome to the Chief Minister.
School Education and District Incharge Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Revenue Minister Jai Singh Agrawal, Korba MP Jyotsna Charandas Mahant and other public representatives, officers, employees and villagers were present on the occasion.
