Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday reached village Gitpahar under Charama tehsil of Bhanupratappur assembly constituency. The villagers accorded him a traditional welcome by offering him a turban to wear. He prayed for the happiness, well-being and prosperity of the people of the state by offering prayers to Sheetla Mata. Along with worshipping Angarmoti Mata he also worshipped Dokra Dev and Pahariya Dokra Dev praying for good rains.
Besides, chief minister planted a sapling of Neem tree in the temple premises. WCD minister Anila Bhediya and Deputy Speaker of Chhattisgarh legislative assembly and Bhanupratappur MLA Manoj Singh Mandavi were also present on the occasion.
