Chhattisgarh records 179.7 mm average rainfall so far

Raipur: According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 179.7 mm since June 1 this year. At 280.9 mm, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district has recorded highest rainfall while Balrampur district recorded the lowest at 105.3 mm. This is according to the district-wise rainfall statistics from June 01 to July 04.

According to the information received from the state level control room for flood disaster management, Surguja has received 110.4 mm of rainfall since June 1. Similarly, Surajpur received 162.2 mm rainfall, Jashpur 108.3 mm, Koriya 186.4 mm, Raipur 108.3 mm, Balodabazar 185.6 mm, Gariyaband 220.0 mm, Mahasamund 171.5 mm, Dhamtari 161.2 mm, Bilaspur 205.4 mm, Mungeli 234.5 mm, Raigarh 202.6 mm, Janjgir-Champa 320.8 mm, Korba 174.5 mm, Durg 148.2 mm, Kabirdham 164.8 mm, Rajnandgaon 173.7 mm, Balod 232.3 mm, Bemetara 147.0 mm, Bastar 167.2 mm, Kondagaon 157.1 mm, Kanker 143.8 mm, Narayanpur 170.0 mm, Dantewada 166.9 mm, Sukma 148.0 mm and Bijapur recorded average rainfall of 274.2 mm.
