Chhattisgarh Govt has invited applications for regularization of unauthorized development

Raipur: Chhattisgarh government has implemented the Chhattisgarh Anadhikrit Vikas Ka Niyamitikaran Adhiniyam (Shanshodhan), 2022 with an aim of bringing more transparency and ease the regularization process of such developments in the state. As per information received from the Town and Country Planning Director, applications related to the regularization of unauthorized development have been invited from July 14,2022 to July 14, 2023, which can be submitted in the offices of municipal corporations and town and country planning in the district.

Authorities concerned have clarified that the applicants can apply for regularization of all types of development built before July 14, 2022. Besides, regularization of unauthorized development done in all the urban bodies and gram panchayats coming under the planning area can be done. All types of unauthorized developments can be regularized including residential, educational, commercial, non-commercial, and industrial. During the process of regularization, the development over the land other than that identified in the master plan can also be regularized.
