
Raipur: T S Singhdeo, minister of health and family welfare, and panchayat and rural development, has quit panchayat and rural development department on Saturday, creating a political turmoil in Chhattisgarh. Notably, Singhdeo has been stealing the headlines since the formation of Congress government in the state for his stand over two and a half year formula for the post of Chief Minister. However, Singhdeo was quiet for sometime. This development has again brought him into limelight. It was learnt that Singhdeo was not happy with the interference of some senior colleagues in his department and thus he took this decision.Further he released an official letter stated the reason of his resignation from Department of Panchayat.
