T S Singhdeo, Minister in Charge of Bemetara District, reviewed the district’s development projects.

Health Minister T.S. Singhdeo reviewed the implementation of the ongoing development works and schemes in the district by holding a meeting of officers of various departments at Bemetara district headquarters today. In the meeting, he directed the officers to ensure better implementation of the flagship schemes. He also reviewed the availability of fertilisers and seeds for the Rabi season and the preparations for the November 1 paddy purchase. Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey and local MLA Ashish Chhabra also attended the meeting.

In-charge Minister TS Singhdeo directed that better medical facilities be provided to the people in the district’s hospitals, that adequate stock of medicines is kept on hand, and that doctors and other staff be present on time. He directed the officers to work sensitively to take the benefits of the schemes to a maximum number of people. There should be a better implementation of flagship schemes of the state government.

T S Singhdeo asked to take the benefits of beneficiary-oriented schemes like Suraji Gaon Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana to as many people as possible. Shri Singhdev has worked in many departments, including Revenue, Water Resources, Tribal Welfare, Panchayat, Electricity, Women and Child Development, Education, Fisheries, Sports, Food, Minerals, Health, Public Health Engineering, Public Works, Jal Jeevan Mission and Social Welfare. Agriculture and Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey asked the farmers to encourage the use of vermicompost to increase production in agriculture. He instructed CEOs of Janpad Panchayats to make proper arrangements for fodder in Gauthans. District officers of various departments, including Bemetara Collector Jitendra Shukla, Superintendent of Police I. Kalyan Elisela and Zilla Panchayat CEO Leena Mandavi, were present in the review meeting.
