Only Congress and Rahul Gandhi are threat to BJP, thus BJP trying to suppress the voice;CM Baghel

Delhi:Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday said that only Congress party and Rahul Gandhi are the threat to the existence of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and therefore the latter is trying to suppress the voice of the Opposition and the Congress leader.  

The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh stated this on the sideline of a meeting held at the party headquarters on Wednesday to chalk out strategies for the upcoming agitation in protest against alleged misuse of Enforcement Directorate (ED) and other central agencies against the opposition leaders. 

The Congress has also added another agenda to its ongoing protest. With the introduction of ‘Agneepath’ scheme of the Central government receving opposition from several political groups especially in Bihar, Congress has planned to oppose this recruitment. 

Addressing the dharna in the presence of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghelsaid, BJP face threat from Congress and Rahul Gandhi, so it wants to suppress the voice of Rahul Gandhi and Congress.

Baghel said that the central government is playing with the future of the youth. BJP wants to end reservation and jobs in the country. Along with this, Baghel accused the ED of torturing Rahul Gandhi and the youths of the nation are watching this. 

Baghel said that the Congress party of Chhattisgarh and the people there stand by Rahul Gandhi. Raising questions on the Agneepath scheme, Baghel said that the central government is playing with the future of the youth. After four years, the BJP wants to keep the retired youth as peons in its office. Along with this, Baghel accused the BJP of ending reservation and jobs. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel told the party workers to keep their enthusiasm high to fight against the BJP.

Rahul Gandhi has been questioned for five days in Enforcement Directorate- Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, former Union Minister P Chidambaram, Pramod Tiwari, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, MLA Vikas Upadhyay, Arun Vora, State Congress President Mohan Markam and almost all the MLAs of Chhattisgarh Congress were present. After that everyone left for Jantar Mantar.

Central government accused of misusing of agencies

In the meeting, the leaders said that the central government wants to crush the opposition by using government agencies. For this it is also adopting undemocratic process. In such times, the responsibility of Congress leaders-workers is increasing. The churning is going on how to fight against the policies of the central government. The meeting also discussed the outline of the movement to protest the ED’s interrogation of Sonia Gandhi.

Happy birthday to the minister in Chhattisgarh Sadan

Before leaving for Congress headquarters from Chhattisgarh Sadan, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel congratulated Food Minister Amarjit  Bhagat on his birthday. It is Bhagat’s birthday and he has reached Delhi on the invitation of the party. He was also arrested during the protest on Tuesday. Even during the meeting held at the party headquarters, he introduced Bhagat and informed about his birthday.

Chief Minister was going from Congress headquarters to ED office, when stopped, sat on dharna, Singhdeo and other leaders arrested, sent Baghel back.
