Mohala-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki becomes 29th district of Chhattisgarh

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the district today

Fulfilling his promise, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday inaugurated Mohala-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki as the 29th district of the state during a function at Mohala.

The chief minister performed Bhoomipujan and dedicated development works worth Rs 106 crore 27 lakh 95 thousand on the occasion. 

The chief minister also distributed materials worth Rs 12 lakh 10 thousand to 103 beneficiaries. The 2-14-batch IAS S Jayvardhantook charge as new collector in the presence of the chief minister. Similarly, 2018-batch IPS Yeduvalli Akshay Kumar took over charge of superintendent of police. Till now, both the officers were posted as OSD.

As soon as the Baghel reached Mohala, he was given a warm welcome at the helipad. Baghelalso visited Churia Mata and prayed for the development, prosperity and prosperity of the new district by offering prayers at the temple. Later, he reached the Collectorate office in a road show.

Baghel unveiled the statue of Mahatma Gandhi on the Collectorate premises ad inaugurated the Collectorate and SP office.

This new district has been formed by merging the remote tribal areas of Rajnandgaon district. Two assembly seats Khujji and Mohla-Manpurwill come in it.
