On Sunday, city MLA Shailesh Pandey participated in the Deepawali meeting ceremony of the Union at the office of Rail Mazdoor Union located in Bungalow Yard of the Railway area, along with hundreds of employees of Nagpur, Raipur and Bilaspur divisions participated. Bilaspur MLA Shailesh Pandey presided over the program as chief guest, and Nageshwar Mishra, senior union leader, former secretary of Chhattisgarh Congress Committee Shiva Mishra, and councillor Sai Bhaskar attended as special guests. First of all, tributes were paid at the martyr’s altar built in memory of the departed people of the organization.

Addressing the program, city MLA Shailesh Pandey attacked the functioning of the central government, raising the issue of inconvenience caused to the passengers due to the cancellation of trains; he mentioned the increasing inflation in the country and women’s safety in BJP-ruled states. Assured support to the railway employees in their struggle against the oppressive policy of the Centre.

Nageshwar Mishra, who is presiding, expressed his desire to work till his last breath by being among the colleagues of the Rail Mazdoor Union, describing the present time as a crisis period for the country due to the policies of the Central Government.

While addressing, senior Congress leader Shiva Mishra termed the central government’s attitude as anti-employee and appealed to work strongly to save the country’s railway system and protect the democratic values ​​in the country.
Rizwan, the organization’s general secretary, asked all comrades to be prepared for the upcoming struggle while highlighting in detail the activities done in the interests of the employees and the organization’s establishment objectives.

Councilor Sai Bhaskar expressed gratitude while welcoming all the present colleagues.
