Due to the continuous cancellation of Chhattisgarh state passenger trains, the district and city Congress parties in Bilaspur staged a day-long sit-in in which thousands of Congress people protested the central government’s wrong policy.

Seeing the plight of the respected people of Chhattisgarh, Congress staged a day-long dharna and demanded from the central government that trains should operate as before. In this program today, respected leaders and public representatives from all the Legislative Assemblies of the district and the city, and all the respected block presidents, councillors of the corporation and women leaders, and youth leaders were all present in large numbers.
