Mahtari Hunkar Rally – Union minister Smriti Irani targets State government on crime against women and liquor ban
Union Minister of Women and Child Development Smriti Irani on Friday targeted the state government and said in English there will be A for Amethi and B for Bilaspur and now C for Chhattisgarh, indicating towards party’s win in the upcoming assembly elections. She said that Congress leaders, who have cheated people of Chhattisgarh even after taking pledge with Ganga water to ban liquor, should tell why crimes against women are increasing under Congress rule.
She also questioned the state government on home delivery of liquor in Chhattisgarh at a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered foodgrains in crisis situation like Covid. The people of the whole country are getting the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. But the Congress government of Chhattisgarh has deprived its people of the same.
Former chief minister Raman Singh, union minister Renuka Singh, BJP state president Arun Sao also addressed the Mahtari Hunkar Rally organised in Bilaspur on Friday.
Raman Singh attacked the Chhattisgarh government and said that the people of the state are against the government, that is why more than 50 thousand women had reached the Hunkar rally.
