Congress launches scathing on BJP for ‘stopping’ Reservation Bill

Raipur

Even after 58 days, the Governor has not signed the reservation bills passed by the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Congress on Monday intensified its  attack accusing opposition BJP of conspiring to stop this reservation bill. Congress leaders alleged that 90% of the state’s reserved class population will give a befitting reply to this conspiracy in the assembly elections.

State Congress spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur said, BJP leaders who used to take round of the Raj Bhavan on trivial issues are now not taking pain to visit Raj Bhavan for the passage of the bill which clearly indicates towards a major conspiracy by the party.

Along with their central leadership, Dr Raman Singh, Arun Sao, Narayan Chandel have conspired to stop the reservation bill in the Raj Bhavan. On the other hand, 9 MPs of BJP are conspiring to stop the resolution passed in the context of 76% reservation bill of the state from being included in the ninth schedule.

In order to mislead the people of the state, the BJP calls itself a supporter of reservation and when reservation is also hanging in the Raj Bhavan, it is making statements against the same reservation bill. The 90% reserved class of the state is watching this double character of BJP that how BJP has conspired to stop that 76% reservation bill, he said.
