CM Bhupesh Baghel, Health Minister T S Singhdeo together takes meal at farmer’s house in Kawardha, forgetting past events

Baghel announced medical college for Kawardha district.

With Chhattisgarh heading for the assembly elections in 2023, the ruling Congress of the state, which has been stung by the criticism for its infighting and race for the CM’s chair between two senior leaders in the last four year, it seems has started realizing the fact that this is high time to get united, leaving behind the differences. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and health minister T S Singhdeo were on Monday seen ‘sitting together and eating together’ in the house of farmer Mohan in Kawardha during the CM’s ‘bhent-mulaqat’ programme after a long time. 

The chief minister was accompanied by Singhdeo who is the minister in-charge Kawardha. Both the leaders sharing common stage is a rare view and it was seen in Kawardhaon Monday apparently trying to send a message to the opposition BJP ahead of the assembly elections.

The Chief Minister said that a new medical college would come up in the district which will facilitate the people of adjoining districts. It may be recalled, Rahul Gandhi during his Kawardhavisit, had promised to open a medical college in Kabirdham district on the demand of the people. The chief minister asked the officers to make proposals regarding the new medical college at the earliest.

Baghel inaugurated the bridge constructed at a cost of 9 crore 10 lakh on the Sakri river of National Highway number 30 of Kawardha cityand said that this bridge will write a new chapter of development.

The bridge will smooth the communication with Jabalpur, Mandla, Raipur and the nearest district headquarters of the state Mungeli, Bemetara, Bilaspu. The 100 year old bridge was dilapidated. Cabinet Minister Md Akbar had taken the initiative for the bridge.

In Sahaspur Lohara also the CM put up a chaupal and interacted with people on income of people can be increased by selling cow dung.Now paints are also being made from cow dungand this paint will be used for the painting of the government schools which will generate employment opportunity. This will also promote self employment in the state.

The Chief Minister said that everyone should contribute to the environment conservation by reducing carbon emission, the way squirrels contributed in the construction of Ram Setu. Jai and Veeru having food together.

The chief minister said that we are fighting a battle against malnutrition, so our government has started the Suposhan Abhiyan. He said that Rural Industrial Parks are being started in Gothans so that rural women and youth of the village can get employment. 

Apart from all this, the Chief Minister gave information about Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is touring all 90 assembly constituencies to know the people’s problems and subsequently take a feedback of the people on government’s performance. The chief minister is also asking the officials to solve the problems at the earliest. The meet and greet programme of rhe chief minister started on May 4 from Surguja division. Later on Bastar, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Raigad districts were covered. Last month, he had visited Pandariyaassembly constituency in Kawardha district. So far, the chief minister has tourted 34 assembly constituencies of 16 districts.
