Bhanupratappur assembly by-election: The Congress election committee is to meet tomorrow and may seal the candidate’s name.

The party has started preparations for the Bhanupratappur assembly by-election. In this regard, Cabinet Minister Ravindra Choubey stated that the Election Committee will meet on Tuesday. State In-Charge PL Punia and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will attend the meeting. He stated that the candidate’s name would be finalised and the file would be sent to the High Command the following day.

Minister Ravindra Choubey said that Bhanupratappur is a stronghold of Congress. We have been winning from there in the past as well. It is the seat of Congress, and we will win again. Because of the death of our senior Congress colleague, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Manoj Mandavi, this seat has become vacant. He stated that the process is democratic. All of the teams will start preparing. BJP workers have appointed the observers. Ravindra Choubey stated that the Congress flag will fly in Bhanupratappur in the same manner that we won four by-elections.

The Election Commission has set the by-election date for the Bhanupratpur assembly seat. Voting for the assembly seat will take place on December 5, and on December 8, votes will get counted.
