I still have not a house of my own, say Rahul Gandhi as 85th plenary session of Congress concludes

As the three-day 85th plenary session of Congress concluded at Atal Nagar Nava Raipur on Sunday, Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi covered major issues such as ‘overwhelming’ to Bharat Jodo Yatra, Adani-Hindenburg case, external affairs minister S Jaishankar’s statement on China and 2024 Lok Sabha elections during his more than half an hour speech.

Rahul also narrated the incident of 1977, in which he realized for the first time that he did not have his own house. He said that it has been 52 years, he still does not have own house. His mother Sonia Gandhi got emotional after listening to his words.

“I got to learn a lot from Bharat Jodo Yatra,”said Rahul Gandhi. 

Rahul said, “Narendra Modi hoisted the flag at LalChowk with 15-20 people of BJP, Bharat Jodo Yatrahoisted the flag with lakhs of people. A Kashmiri came and told me that he will carry the tricolor with me. I am walking with you because of the trust you have developed. Rahul Gandhi did not do this work, our workers did it, lakhs of people joined us in the Bharat Jodo Yatra.”

Rahul said he showed a photo in Parliament, in which the Prime Minister is sitting in a plane with Adani. “I asked what is the relationship. The whole government, all the ministers started protecting Adani. The one who attacked Adani became a traitor and Adani became a patriot?”

AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge said the biggest challenge is to save Ambedkar’s constitution. Congress means…service, dedication, compassion and justice, dependence and discipline.

The National President said 50 percent seats will be given to women, youth and ST-SC in the next assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections. Many topics were discussed in the convention.
