Chhattisgarh Governor paid courtesy call on the President of India

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey paid a courtesy call on the President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi today.
While interacting with the President, Governor inquired about her well-being and informed her about various welfare activities of the state. She invited the President to attend various programmes as chief guest. This includes ‘Diamond Jubilee Celebrations’ to be organized on January 12 next year marking the completion of the 75th year of the establishment of the state’s prestigious Government Nagarjuna Postgraduate College, Raipur, Convocation of Amity University Raipur and the women empowerment programme to be organized by Adivasi Shiv Sanskriti Samiti, district-Narmadapuram from 12 to 18 February next year. The President gave her nod to attend the maximum possible programmes.
During this, Governor Uikey also presented a copy of Raj Bhavan’s quarterly magazine ‘Ek Asha’ to the President and informed about the innovative activities of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat. She also presented a shawl and a memento to her.
