Raipur: A youth
allegedly outraged modesty of a six-year-old girl at a village under Palari
police station limits of Baloda Bazaar district. The accused identified as
Madhuraj, 21, was arrested following a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother.
The accused took the
girl from her house luring her of giving her snacks and outraged her modesty.
After committing the heinous crime, the accused dropped the girl at home,
according to police. The girl told her mother about the incident as she was in
pain. Her mother first gave her medicine, but it did not work.
The accused had gone to
the girl’s house the next day with a bad intention again. However, the mother
of the victim was present and she beat him. Later, the woman went to the police
station with the accused and lodged a complaint. In her statement to police,
the woman told that the accused used to visit her residence regularly. On
Friday, he took the girl away on the pretext of giving snacks and outraged her
modesty, the complainant told the police.
The accused is a
resident of Baghel Colony ward number- 11 of Palari, is reportedly pursuing his
B.Sc second year. His father is a teacher in Gidhpuri Government School.
Case under sections
4(2) of POCSO Act and section 376 AB of Indian Penal Code has been registered.
