Vyapam announces date of entrance examinations, local domiciles of Chhattisgarh exempted from paying examination fee

Raipur: Chief minister
Bhupesh Baghel made a big announcement for the youth of Chhattisgarh state
while presenting the state budget for this financial year 2022-23. As per the
announcement local domiciles of Chhattisgarh have been exempted from paying
examination fees for the entrance and recruitment examinations conducted by
Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG-VYAPAM) and the Chhattisgarh
Public Service Commission (CG-PSC).

The implementation of
the said announcement of the Chief Minister has also been started in the state.
Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board has recently released the tentative
dates for examinations to be conducted for admission to various technical
courses at the undergraduate level. According to the notification released, no
fee will be charged from the resident of Chhattisgarh for these examinations.

According to the date
released by Vyapam, Pre-Engineering Test (PET) and Pre Pharmacy Test (PPHT) is
proposed to be conducted on May 22. This exam will be conducted in all 28
districts of the state. PET is for admission in BE, BTech (Engineering), BTech
(Dairy Technology), Dau Shri Vasudev Chandrakar Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya Durg,
BTech (Agriculture Engineering), BTech (Food Technology) and Diploma in Dairy
Technology. Similarly, Pre MCA and Pre Polytechnic Test (PPT) are proposed to
be held on May 29. Similarly, the Pre Agriculture Test (PAT) and Pre Veterinary
and Polytechnic Test (PVPT) for admission to B.Sc (Agriculture), B.Sc.
(Horticulture), Diploma in Animal Husbandry and Diploma in Fisheries Science is
proposed to be conducted on June 5. Pre B.Ed and Pre D.El.Ed examinations will
be held on June 12 while the entrance exam for Pre.BA.B.Ed and Pre.BSc.B.Ed is
proposed to be conducted on June 19. It is worth mentioning that the fee has
also been waived in the examinations of Junior Services Selection Board
constituted for the recruitment of residents of Bastar and Surguja.
