Vijay’s journey from Tailoring to Asst Tax Commissioner

Raipur:Success does not depend on resources, rather hard work and dedication is required to get success in like. The success story of Vijay Kaivart from Bilaspurdistrict of Chhattisgarh amply suits to this definition. The son of auto driver Kuldeep Kaivart, Vijay, has scripted a new definition of success story by securing the 21st rank in the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) examination, results of which were announced on Friday. Vijay even stitched people’s clothes to complete his studies. Considering the financial condition of the house, he continued both his tailoring work and studies. Did not give up and has now been selected for the post of Assistant Tax Commissioner.

Vijay, who lives in Takhatpur, was sewing clothes as usual even when the results came on Friday and his selection in CGPSC was confirmed. Vijay says that along with doing tailoring work, he used to study for 5 hours every day. He got success in the fourth time. He said that there is no shortcut to hard work.

Learned tailoring work when I was in 5th

Vijay did his studies till 8th from Gayatri Gyan Mandirand passed 12th from Boys High School. Vijay said that when he was in the 5th class, he started learning sewing. After that he started working in the shop. He continued his studies with the money received from stitching clothesHe got scholarship and completed graduation in Mechanical Engineering from C V Raman University

Father’s advise worked for him

Vijay’s father used to say to him that he needs to be a capable persons if want to live in the society, so as to establish an identity. Seeing the hard work of his father, Vijay himself learned the work of tailoring and continued his studies. After engineering, when he did not get a good job, then did tailoring and continued to work hard for the CGPSC.

Tehsildar uncle gives guidance

Vijay said when he became block topper in 12th,Tehsildar Rakesh uncle living in the neighborhood showed him a new path. He encouraged Vijay to prepare for PSC. Vijay told that his father drives an auto since childhood. The financial constraints of the house were such that he had to work in the Maniharishop along with studies. During this, his sister Swatiand brother-in-law Balram Kaivart always supported him in studies and also helped him financially.
