Singhdeo sets off with blessings of Maa Danteshwari During his state visit
He will review the works of his departments during his whirlwind tour of the state.
Dantewara:The Health and Family Welfare Minister of Chhattisgarh, T S Singhdeo, started his state tour on Wednesday after seeking blessings of Maa Danteswari in Dantewada.
As per the schedule, Singhdeo will review works of his departments and hold a series of meetings with Congress workers and leaders during his stay in different districts of the state as part of his state-wide tour.
Singhdeo reached Dantewada by helicopter and headed for Danteswari temple by road where he performed ‘puja-archana’. Singhdeo interacted with the women selling ‘prasad’ on the temple premises and heard their problems. After the ‘darshan’ at Danteshwari temple, Singhdeo reached the district hospital Dantewada to take stock of the treatment facilities.
He also talked to the patients and took their feedback.
The Panchayat and Rural Development Minister, Singhdeo, directed the doctors and officials concerned present on the occasion to ensure adequate medicines for patients who complained the minister of medicine shortage.
Earlier, District Congress office bearers and leaders welcomed Singhdeo at the helipad.
