Raipur. Five District Ayurvedic Hospitals and 22 Community Health Centers of the state will have Sian Jatan Clinic on the first Thursday of every month. Those above 60 years of age will be given free check-up and treatment in these hospitals. Dr. Vijay Sahu, Assistant Director, Directorate of AYUSH informed that Sian Jatan clinics are being operated in allopathic centers to take care of the health of the elderly people of the state. Expanding this, now special OPD and Panchakarma services will be provided to the elderly people suffering from physical and mental problems arising in old age through Ayurveda in Ayurvedic hospitals of the state.
Dr. Sahu informed that on the occasion of World Health Day, from April 7 onwards, 22 Specialized Therapy Centers operating in Community Health Centers of the State and Sian Jatan Clinics for old people in five district Ayurveda hospitals on the first Thursday of every month are being operated as an innovation. The Clinic will also maintain the details of the patients who came for treatment, so that these patients can also be followed up if needed.
