Relaxation in Physical test for ST youths in police recruitment

Raipur:In a gift to youths belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced to give relaxation in the measurement of height and chest of such candidates in the recruitment process of Subedar/SI/Platoon Commander. 

Along with this the last date to apply online for all the candidates has been extended till November 11, 2021.

To be noted applications were invited by issuing an advertisement for recruitment to the vacant posts of Subedar / Sub-Inspector / Platoon Commander in Chhattisgarh Police. The last date to apply in the said advertisement was October 31, 2021.

As the state government announced relaxation in height and chest measurement for the male candidates of scheduled tribes, the date has been extended till November 11, 2021.

The minimum physical qualification for male candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST) is now 163 cm height and minimum chest measurement is now 78 cm without inflating the chest while it should be 83 cm at inflated. The remaining qualifications will be as per the advertisement issued earlier.
