Raipur dist adm warns home isolation patient to strictly follow, Strict action will be taken in case of violating rules

Raipur: Raipur district administration
has appealed to citizens to extend all possible cooperation and give correct
information in the view of prevention and control of the spread of coronavirus
infection. 

Strict action will be taken under the Epidemic
Act if found responsible for spreading Covid infection including giving wrong
information or hiding evidence. 

Home isolation nodal officer Dr Anjali
Sharma said that some of the Corona positive patients, who are living in home
isolation, have given their wrong mobile number while some are not responding
to calls of the health department and administrative team. This is causing
disruption in other works including contact tracing for corona control and
prevention. She said that it is necessary to follow the instructions issued by
the central government, state government, and district administration from time
to time regarding Covid 19.

The nodal officer said that the home
isolation is advised to keep distance from other members of the house. Stay at
home, don’t leave the house. Wear a mask and maintain hygiene at all times.
Positive people should keep a pulse oximeter at home and keep checking for
oxygen. If the oxygen level is less than 94, then the doctor should be
consulted immediately.
