Mega legal services camp held at civil courts across the state

Raipur:
The mega legal services camp christened e-Mega Legal Services Camp was organized
at all the civil courts of the state on Sunday to settle the cases related to
the court.

Chhattisgarh
High Court Chief Justice Arup Kumar Goswami inaugurated the camp on the virtual
mode in all 23 civil districts.

The
Chief Justice said that justice should reach the deprived sections of the
society and according to Article 39 (a) of the Constitution, the state
government should frame an Act to benefit the deprived class.

At
present, the Chhattisgarh State Legal Services Authority in collaboration with
the National Legal Services Authority is organizing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The
team of paralegal volunteers and panel lawyers is making people aware of legal
matters by visiting door to door.

Judges
of the Chhattisgarh High Court Justice Goutam Bhaduri, Justice Sanjay S Agrawal, and Justice Sanjay K Agrawal also presented their views. Registrar General of
the High Court Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal delivered the welcome speech. CGSLSA
members secretary Siddharth Aggarwal proposed the vote of thanks.

District
and Sessions Judges, collectors, superintendents of police, judicial officials,
lawyers, paralegal volunteers, and other officials of various departments
attended the session through video conferencing.
