Killing your desires cannot bring success: CGPSC topper Aastha
Raipur:One should not kill his or her desire to get successful in life. One should live freely, but he/she should not compromise with his/her studies. The daughter of Rajnandgaon, Aastha Borkar has proved her mettle in the CGPSC 2020 by securing the first position. According to Aastha, she had a lot of fun with friends in college even during her preparation for CGPSC. She used to click photos with friends, go for picnics and celebrate festivals by giving full time to family. According to her, anything can be achieved through proper time management.
Aastha said that she has seen youths preparing seriously for big competitive exams like UPSC and PSC. They used to lock themselves in the room for studies for three to four years, killing their desires. Such candidates start maintaining distance from their family and friends. Success never comes like this, said Aastha.
Aastha said that there were many obstacles in the examination in which she topped, but she did not give up. She got Covid during the mains examination. Papers were in June. In such a situation, took advantage of it for studies.
Mother’s dream of deputy collector fulfilled
Aastha’s mother Sushila Borkar is a housewife. Father Dhruvraj Borkar is a Senior Section Engineer (SECR) in Railways. She has an elder sister, Akanksha Borkar, preparing to make a career in the field of education. This small family got a lot of support from Aastha’smaternal uncle. Aastha’s maternal uncle was an assistant land conservation officer.
Aastha said that girls can do whatever they want, if need be, just support them. Behind his success, he got the full support of his family and teachers. At home, the mother did not allow him to do much work. The elder sister also always got support.
Aastha did her schooling from Mahavir Jain Vidyalayaof Durg. She then shifted to Rajnandgaon and studied at the Gujarati National Higher Secondary School. She did her MSc from Government DigvijayMahavidyalaya Rajnandgaon.
Aastha has been meritorious from the very beginning. She started the preparation of PSC in 2018 and passed the PSC exam of 2019 in the second attempt. Selected for the post of Janpad CEO, but she had not even joined the post.
