Pathalgaon. Jashpur district police has arrested three thugs from Andhra Pradesh, including the kingpin of a gang who cheated on the pretext of planting a red sandalwood plantation.
Superintendent of Police Vijay Aggarwal today claimed that the kingpin of the gang from Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, V. Vasudev Reddy and M Lokesh were also arrested after Ramanna was caught.
The Superintendent of Police said that on the pretext of setting up a red sandalwood plantation in the Kunkuri area, the farmers were cheated out of money. A case of cheating was registered against these miscreants on a complaint by the farmers of Ghatmunda village at Kunkuri police station. The police team had traced them from their bank accounts. After this, he was arrested from Pillaru village of Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
