Health Minister TS Singh Deo conducts election campaigning for upcoming Khairagarh by-polls, appeals people to vote in favour of Congress candidate
Raipur: Health minister and senior party leader TS Singh Deo conducted election campaigning today for the upcoming Khairagarh by-polls. The election campaign was in the favour of Congress candidate Yashoda Verma.
The minister addressed four public meetings in Khairagarh. Addressing the gathering, he said that the party has prepared an election manifesto for 2018 assembly elections as per the wishes of people in coordination with the then Congress President Rahul Gandhi and senior Congress leaders. He added that farmers’ loan waiver and purchase of paddy at support price were the important points of this manifesto. Our government has started fulfilling its promises in just hours after coming into power. This shows our intentions and dedication which has brought prosperity in the lives of every section of society today.
Stating that some misleading news is being spread regarding the closure of some MGNREGA work in Khairagarh, which is completely false and baseless. Rajnandgaon has done maximum MGNREGA work in the state in the last few days and the same will be continued in future.
After this, Health Minister TS Singh Deo reached the Block Congress Committee, Shaheed Nagari Chhuikhadan where he campaigned in favor of Congress candidate Yashoda Verma. Following this, he reached the meeting organized at Rajmahal Chhuikhdan where he asked people to vote for Congress.
After this program, Deo, who reached Gandai’s general meeting, paid floral tributes to Jaitkham and said in his address that our government has supported the youth in the state by conducting government job recruitment examinations free of cost. Deo said that he was in touch with the late MLA Devvrat Singh before his death and his wish was to return to the Congress. Now people of Khairagarh have to make Congress candidate win fulfilling the wish of their late MLA. Sihawa MLA Smt. Laxmi Dhruv, Bilaspur MLA Mr. Shailesh Pandey, Khujji MLA Smt. Chhani Sahu, Youth Congress President Mr. Koko Padhi and other dignitaries were present in this programme.
