Governor, Chief Minister, extend wishes to the people of Chhattisgarh on Diwali.

Raipur. Governor Anusuiya Uikey, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel extended wishes to the people of Chhattisgarh on the occasion of the Deepawali festival. People will celebrate Diwali across the country on Thursday. Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant also extended his wishes to the people of the state. They prayed for the wellness and prosperity of the people.

In her message, wishing the people of the state, Governor described Diwali as an integral part of the rich culture and tradition of the country. She hoped that this auspicious Diwali, which is being celebrated with much enthusiasm after a gap of nearly two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will bring happiness for people.

Describing Deepawali as a festival of mythological importance, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that this festival is an integral part of India’s tradition. It is the responsibility of all to ensure this festival is celebrated with peace.
