Forest Minister constitutes committee for inquiry into works done under CAMPA head in Marwahi Forest Division

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar has constituted a committee for investigation into the works done in Marwahi Forest Division under CAMPA head between 2018-19 and 2021-22. 

The annual action plan of CAMPA under Marwahi forest division, the criteria, quality and related records of the works done from 2018-19 to 2021-22 will be examined. The Inquiry Committee has been directed to submit the report along with its recommendations within a week.

The Chief Conservator of Forests, Bilaspur Circle, Bilaspur will be the chairman of the inquiry committee. Divisional Forest Officer Mungeli and Divisional Forest Officer Manendragarh will be member and Divisional Forest Officer Marwahi will be the member secretary of the committee. 

Apart from this, Conservator of Forests (CAMPA), Divisional Forest Officer Bilaspur, GIS Specialist Navneet Nayak, NRM Engineer, Dharamjaigarh Bhavani Shankar Pradhan, NRM Bilaspur Durgesh Khande, NRM Engineer Mungeli Ravi Shankar Lahre and NRM Engineer Achanakmar Tiger Reserve Lormi Kuldeep Yadav will be the members of the committee. Inquiry will also be done into ground water conservation work done under Narwa Vikas Yojana from 2019-20 to 2021-22 and materials purchased for various works. 

Similarly, compensation, plantation, integrated wildlife management plan, construction of water sources and other mandatory work done under the Annual Action Plan from 2018-19 to 2021-22 will be investigated. 

Investigation has also been ordered in relation to plantation, lantana eradication, upgradation of forest roads (WBM road construction), construction of office and residential buildings and basic amenities in forest colonies and chain link fencing, security wall and all other works.
