Khairagarh:With only 6 days left for voting in Khairagarhby-election, all the political parties have intensified their election campaign to woo the voters. In this sequence, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has thrown himself into the campaigning in favour of Congress candidate Yashoda Verma. Baghel is leading Congress’ campaign in the constituency. Attack and counter attack by political parties reached its peak. In the same series, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh looted the farmers through Chit Fund companies.
Targeting the BJP star campaigners Union Ministers Faggan Singh Kulaste and PrahladSingh Patel, Baghel said that BJP leaders accuse Chhattisgarh of making Chhattisgarh bankrupt, but he would like to say that he would do whatever he thinks is good for farmers.
Baghel addressed the election meeting of Bijaldehi village of Khairagarh on Wednesday and said that for the first time in Chhattisgarh, the government of farmers and laborers has been formed in the form of Congress government. Farmers today have become financially empowered and freed from debt, Baghel said.
CM Baghel said that Godhan Nyay Yojana has empowered people largely depend on cows and agriculture. The picture of villages is changing as Rural Industrial Park today, he said. State government schemes are now being copied in other parts of the country, he said adding BJP is anti-farmers. BJP is also opposing making Khairagarh a district, he said.
