Raipur. The 67th National Film Awards distribution ceremony is going to be held on October 25 at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi. On this occasion, Director Manoj Verma will receive an award for the Chhattisgarhi film ‘Bhulan The Maze’ from Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.
On March 22, the Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar had announced the 67th National Film Awards. ‘Bhulan The Maze’ became the first Chhattisgarhi film to receive a National Award. It has screened in film festivals held in Kolkata, Gwalior, Delhi, Orchha, Azamgarh and Raigarh, including Raipur. Apart from this, the film was also shown at international film festivals in Italy and California. The film is based on Sanjeev Bakshi’s novel ‘Bhulan Kanda’. Director Manoj Verma will leave for Delhi on October 23 to receive the National Award.
